Alsendo, backed by Abris Capital Partners, leads in shipping and delivery solutions for SMEs and enterprises in CEE. The company plans to expand its services by developing cross-border logistics and targeting mid-market Polish e-commerce clients.

Alsendo is seeking a Cross-border Business Development Director to develop and implement a new go-to-market strategy.

Location:  Flexible/Remote

About you:

  • You managed Cross-border Sales and Business Development
  • You know the CEE’s cross – border eCommerce ecosystem. You’re familiar with the courier and last-mile logistic industry
  • Managed and developed partnerships with mid- and enterprise ecommerce clients
  • You are a professional negotiator, an entrepreneur with excellent communication
  • You are fluent in both Polish & English, it’s great if you also know another CEE language

Your deliverables:

  • Collaborate with Group CEO and other key stakeholders incl. Head of Partnerships, Head of Sales to develop and execute a comprehensive cross-border go-to-market strategy for the Polish mid-market e-commerce firms
  • Tailor the go-to-market strategy for the needs of specific market segments, based on deep understanding of the product and local market characteristics
  • Manage existing partners/providers (last mile couriers, linehaul providers, 3PLs, etc.). Identify and leverage strengths and assets of the existing Group assets as well as future potential add-ons to support cross-border development.
  • Manage the P&L of the new cross-border offering
  • Build effective local team to drive cross-border sales using both Group resources (sales and marketing teams) and two new hires
  • Build effective sales processes to onboard new clients
