Team Lead Motion Designer

Company Overview: Papaya, a rapidly growing mobile game company, brings joy to millions of users through various apps. Based in Tel Aviv and expanding to Warsaw, Papaya is in search of a skilled Senior Animator to lead their Motion Design team.

Role Overview: We're helping Papaya find a Motion Designer to step into the role of Team Lead. In this position, you'll play a key part in creating and animating visuals for global campaigns on digital and social platforms, including UA videos, animated banners, and social media content. You'll collaborate with a Creative Director and be an integral part of Papaya's Art Department.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of in-house animators, working with designers, copywriters, marketers, and external resources to bring diverse creatives to life.
• Create UA videos with strong animation, design, and typography for Papaya's games.
• Transform visual concepts into vibrant creations, such as 2D animated character videos and live-action videos.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure visuals match the overall marketing strategy.
• Estimate task timelines and ensure they're completed on time.
• Oversee design projects, promotional, and social media materials as directed by the marketing team.
• Maintain a high level of quality in the final product.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in motion design for mobile games.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of Motion Design experience in the Post Production/Gaming industry.
• At least 2 years of team leadership experience.
• Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere & Photoshop.
• A strong portfolio showcasing design and animation skills.
• Skills in cinematic storytelling, video editing, character animation, and VFX.
• Traits include curiosity, attention to detail, hard work ethic, and creative drive.
• Positive attitude, team player with good communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a dynamic environment with tight schedules.
• Eagerness to explore new trends and stay updated on the latest tools in Motion Design.
